The Durham Cichlid Group
Text Box: This group is nothing more then an assembly of people sharing a passion for Cichlids and to enjoy getting together, enjoying each others company, having a beer and talk cichlids for a few hours in a relaxed atmosphere. There is no signing up or paying dues and there is no schedule to keep. Just get together, relax and have fun.

I like to keep you informed about the activities of this group. Several people in this group go regularly on expeditions to Africa and Central America. Another part of this group goes to the OCA (Ohio Cichlid Association) convention every year. Tom Mason & Barry McKee will go to Costa Rica in February to visit the COTERC (Canadian Organization for Tropical Education and Rainforest Conservation) research station there. I am sure that we will hear some interesting story’s after their return.
